I am SO excited to get to share my transformation of this old tired Duncan Phyfe Double Pedestal Dining Table.

Do you Remember this old thing?

I knew I wanted to update it’s tired warn look to be modern bright and bold. After seeing these beautiful Gold and White combinations, I knew I could achieve the same dramatic look with a little elbow grease.

I sanded, filled the dents. Than applied 2 coats of high adhesive primer.

This is when I decided to be brave and add bold metallic gold accents

She started to come alive.

I highlighted the feet with Gold Metallic paint. She began to sing!

After it passed the final inspection from my supervisor molly it was ready to go 🙂

I love how this project turned out. I think being bold with colour is such a fun way to update vintage dated pieces!

Stunning – AND I did it with a dated piece of furniture and paint!

I bet you will never look at a disregarded piece of furniture the same again.

Are you now a up-cycle believer now?
