This dresser is a little bit of Vancouver history ♥️ Hammond Furniture Co. Ltd. was started by Ernest (Ernie) Hammond in the mid-1920s. Hammond is listed as a Furniture Manufacturer in Vancouver City Directories as early as 1924, later going into business with his sons. Hammond Furniture Co. Ltd. occupied multiple locations around Vancouver, but eventually settled at 890 Clark Drive, at the corner of Venables Street. Hammond Furniture Co. Ltd. was last mentioned in City Directories in 1976.
